The Kitchener Conestoga Rotary Club is excited to announce that Lobsterfest 2023 – held on the first Friday in June – June 2, 2023 – was a great success.
We were at a new location this year, St George Banquet Hall in Waterloo, and the feedback was poisitve overall with some lessons learned to make it even better next year.
There was good food, great company and dancing to a live band.
There was a 50/50 draw with the winner receiving over $3,000 and the charitable fund receiving the matching donation.
As always, in addition to being a great party, Lobsterfest is our Rotary’s primary fund-raiser for international aid projects, so this year was a great success on both counts. Over $60,000 was raised this year, which allows us to continue supporting the many international chartibale projects we support.
