We are always eager to talk with people who share our passions and want to join us as we do even more good work in and outside our community.

If you are interested in exploring Rotary, membership in our club, and you share the ideals identified below:

• Interested in helping others elevate their life through our charitable projects
• Willing to get involved in our activities, including events and fund-raising
• Wanting to join a group of like-minded individuals with whom you can share experiences

This work requires funding by both individuals and corporate sponsors.  If you are interested in talking with us about providing funding for our activities, we would very much appreciate hearing from you. Any support is helpful.

If you are interested in helping KCRC, we offer multiple ways for you to do this:

• Individuals providing a one-time donation in support of a particular KCRC cause or event
• Individuals providing a one-time donation for KCRC to apply to the project most needing the funding
• Organizations providing a one-time donation in support of a particular KCRC cause or event
• Organizations providing a one-time donation for KCRC to apply to the project most needing the funding

Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club (KCRC) has a proud, 50-year tradition of providing exceptional support for charitable causes both locally and around the world.

We have weekly meetings at noon on Fridays at the Westmount Golf and Country Club, at which we normally have a speaker present to our members.

• During virtual meetings the speaker time, including Q&A, is from 12:15pm to 1:00pm.
• When we meet in-person, a lunch is included so the speaker time is from 12:45pm to 1:30pm
• End time is a hard stop, since our members are busy people and cannot stay beyond that time.

If you are interested in becoming a speaker at an upcoming meeting of KCRC, and you have something that meets the following criteria:

• You have a topic that is engaging, interesting, insightful, thought-provoking, potentially educational
• You are NOT trying to impose a particular political point on view of our members
• You are NOT making a sales pitch to our members to use your services or products
• You are NOT coming to our Rotary to ask for funding on your project (see the other categories for that option)

Applicants will be contacted by a representative of our programs committee to further discuss your interest.

Our support of local community charitable projects goes back to our founding. We participate in many local causes to help the community. There are many worthy charitable causes and each organization, like us, must determine what its focus is for charitable support. For our local projects, we use the following criteria to assess them and determine if they meet our support priorities:

• The funding request is one-time, not recurring
• The funding request is in the range of $2,000 to $4,500
• The funding request is to support the enhancement of a charitable organization, not cover annual operating expenses
• The funding request is to support a local (Waterloo Region) project
• The organization submitting the funding request is a charitable entity

Projects that qualify for funding by our club will be sent an application form to complete for the final assessment.
